About the Craft and Artisan :: Deepak Devangan, an artisan of the Tuma craft, has been practicing since the past 15 years. Dried up Gourd (tuma) craft, is a traditional craft practised in the district of Bastar in Chhattisgarh. Once the tree trunk of the vegetable dries up, it hardens up like wood which is then used to make several handicraft products.
